ID CARDS
The young carer's card is for young carers who are having problems at school because they are looking after someone at home. It can be used for things like picking up prescriptions and can also be used some discounts at local places!

Our service has launched a new ID card for young carers in and around the local area, who we currently support, to use to make others aware of their caring responsibilities.

The Young Carers ID Card has been developed to help raise awareness of young carers and let people such as doctors, pharmacists, and teachers know about their caring responsibilities and give them the confidence to ask for help.
The card will also offer discounts to young carers at certain shops, cinemas, sports and leisure facilities and food outlets.
The card itself was designed by a young carer we currently support, Max Brentnall, as was chosen by other young carers and staff members.

Young Carer ID cards are completely free, you are able to register for one through our service.
There are lots of uses for the card, below are just a few!
