WHAT
WE DO
Free and confidential advice, support and activities for young carers in Nottinghamshire.
YOUNG CARERS NOTTS
Young Carers Notts is a free and confidential service that helps young carers aged 5-17 to take a break and get information, advice and support about caring.
We hold regular events where young carers across the county can meet, make new friends and learn new skills – and try fun activities.
Advice and information
We offer young people a one-stop-shop for advice about caring. We can help with things like a carers assessment, a carers ID card and planning.
Events and activities
Young Carers Notts gives young people the chance to have a break and join fun activities, group sessions, short breaks, and social with other young carers.
Parents, carers and professionals
Young Carers Notts helps those working with young people to increase identification of young carers and promote the support available to them in the community.
Am I a young carer?
A young carer is someone aged 25 and under who cares for a friend or family member who, due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, cannot cope without their support.
Tools and resources
This section of our site features a range of tools and resources for young carers to support them in their care role.
